Local Marketing and Sports Tourism Micro-Course

To promote the exchange of interdisciplinary curriculum modules at our university and offer students more flexible course options, undergraduates interested in future careers in regional revitalization and sports tourism can take relevant courses to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Through hands-on practice and related coursework, the program aims to extend independent learning and foster interdisciplinary creativity and application.


How to Apply

  1. All students of National Chung Hsing University are entitled to apply. It is to be noted that the program belongs to day school, students in night school should comply with regulation “L3-04 National Chung-Hsing University Policy of Inter-departmental Course Selection.”
  2. The application form of the program should be signed by the department chair before submission; applicants should submit the application form in hard copy form to the Room 502, 5th Floor, Humanities Building prior to the submission deadline.
  3. Limit of students’ study period would not be influenced if students do not complete the program. In such cases, there is no need to withdraw from the program.
  4. In the course planning form, students must select 1-2 foundational courses and 1-2 specialized courses, totaling 6 or more credits to receive a certificate. Students have to get at least 4 credits from the courses which are not part of the curriculum of their major, minor, or dual-degree program.
  5. Students must obtain their transcript of final grades for the required courses before applying for the microcredit program certificate in their graduation semester.

Steps to Apply for the Program Certification

Step1. Complete the required courses.
Step2. During the graduation semester, submit the "Certificate Program Application Form" and your "Academic Transcript" to the College of Liberal Arts Office for review. After approval and stamping by the program coordinator, the documents will be forwarded to the Registration Office for processing.
※Processing time for document review is approximately 2-3 business days.
Step3. Pick up your certificate at the Registrar's Office.
